YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. The Iranian nuclear program will be continued, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Tuesday in Yerevan at a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandyan.
«Iran has already embarked on uranium enrichment program and the program will be continued,» he said.
In his words, Tehran has repeatedly said that the nuclear program is being implemented only for peaceful purposes.
«Experts are negotiating now in Geneva, and there is no any discord over general principles of the program among experts, there are only some details that need specification, and in this context effective negotiations were held in this context,» he said.
Zarif stressed that Tehran has already obtained the international community's trust. «Only few countries remain that are still concerned [about the program], but we are ready to cooperate with them... Of course, there are still serious problems, but we hope that they will be solved soon thanks to political will and realistic approach,» he said.
Speaking about sanctions against Iran, the minister stressed that «the opposite side should understand that not a single problem can be solved by using the language of sanctions and pressures». ---0----
