Lavrov, Mnatsakanyan discussed Karabakh conflict

Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a meeting today in Moscow with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan wrote in a Facebook post.
YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a meeting today in Moscow with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan wrote in a Facebook post.
She said the two ministers looked into the current situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the implementation of ceasefire agreements.
Having highly appreciated the efforts of Russian President Vladimir Putin to reach agreements on a ceasefire, Mnatsakanyan said that the earlier reached agreements remain on paper due to Azerbaijan's dishonest position and its destabilizing steps.
Reaffirming Armenia's commitments to the October 10 and October 17 humanitarian ceasefire agreements, Minister Mnatsakanyan said the priority now is to establish a stable ceasefire verification mechanisms.
Earlier, Naghdalyan told the Novosti-Armenia news agency that Mnatsakanyan's meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov (who is also in Moscow) was not planned. -0-
