Lithuanian Prime Minister to pay official visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, October 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Andrius Pulokas at a meeting on Wednesday highlighted the upcoming official visit of Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė to Armenia.
They expressed confidence that it will give a new push to the development and expansion of cooperation between the two countries, the Armenian government press service reported.
Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government is interested in implementing programs and discussing new projects with Lithuania in various directions, and stressed Lithuania's support in developing cooperation between Armenia and the European Union.
According to the Armenian National Statistical Committee, the trade turnover between Armenia and Lithuania in the first 8 months of 2023 amounted to $18.8 million, having surged by 40.5% compared to January-August last year. -0-
