YEREVAN, November 26. /ARKA/. Narek Karapetyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC and Vice President of Tashir Group, responded to statements by ENA interim manager Romanos Petrosyan regarding the violations identified.
The previous day, Petrosyan, at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stated that during the four-month administrative proceedings at ENA, data deletions were discovered for 700,000 electricity consumers from 2018 to November 2024.
As Karapetyan stated on Facebook, the manager "forgot" to report that, as a result of an internal investigation conducted at his request, the lost data was restored within 2-3 days. "Anyone can request an electricity consumption statement for the past three years and receive the corresponding report," he assured.
According to him, a corresponding program was implemented by Tashir Group, and in the structures where it operates, losses (in the system) have decreased from 14% to 6%.
"What the media is reporting is unfortunately incorrect. The head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) is well aware of the problem and that measures have been taken to resolve it," Karapetyan emphasized.
