Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn stressed his country's interest in deepening multi-sectoral cooperation with Armenia at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday in Yerevan, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

YEREVAN, February 22. /ARKA/. Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn stressed his country's interest in deepening multi-sectoral cooperation with Armenia at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday in Yerevan, the press service of the Armenian government reported.

Pashinyan expressed confidence that Asselborn's visit will contribute to expansion and strengthening of Armenian-Luxembourg relations.

At the same time the Prime Minister attached importance to Armenia-European Union cooperation, including the effective implementation of the institutional reforms being implemented in the country.

The parties also discussed the developments in the region, the humanitarian crisis caused by the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan, stressing the importance of consistent steps taken by the international community to unblock the corridor.

Views were also exchanged on other topics of international importance. -0-
