Maria Zakharova: approval process is not as fast as we would like it to be

YEREVAN, March 24. /ARKA/. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented today at a press briefing on the implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on Nov. 9, 2020, and Jan. 11 and Nov. 26, 2021.
She said the approval of a package of transport development projects with the focus on rail and road links by the tripartite working group, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of the three countries ‘is not as fast as we would like it to be."
As for launching the delimitation and subsequent demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with Russia's advisory assistance, she said that interagency contacts continue as well.
Asked to comment on today’s violation of the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijani troops near the village of Parukh in Askeran region she said: "It seems to me that Russian peacekeeping forces deployed there should assess it. I repeat what has been said today: the situation, which is already tense and complicated, must not be exacerbated by the actions of any of the parties."
According to Nagorno-Karabakh Information Center, women and children have been evacuated from the Khramort village of Askeran district for security reasons after today breach by Azerbaijani soldiers. -0-
