Bako Sahakyan, president of Artsakh (Karabakh) has signed a decree appointing Masis Mailyan as foreign minister of the republic.

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. Bako Sahakyan, president of Artsakh (Karabakh) has signed a decree appointing Masis Mailyan as foreign minister of the republic. 

On the same day, the president appointed also Araik Harutyunyan as state minister, Karine Atayan as healthcare minister, Ararat Danielyan as justice minister, Samvel Avanesyan as labor, social affairs and migration minister, Vazgen Mikaelyan as ecology and natural resources minister, Zhirayr Mirzoyan as agriculture minister, Levon Grigoryan as economy and industrial infrastructures minister, Narine Agabalyan as science and sports minister, Sergey Shahverdyan as youth and tourism minister, Levon Mnatsakanyan as defense minister, Karen Shahramanyan as urban planning minister and Grigory Martirosyan as finance minister.  

The Artsakh president has also carried out some structural changes. In particular, he moved the tourism division from the economy and industrial infrastructures ministry to the culture, youth and tourism ministry and set up a separate unit in his administration to manage the government’s activity. 

New rules for organization of the government’s activity are also among the changes made by the president. 

Bako Sahakyan appointed Araik Lazaryan, deputy head of the president’s administration, as chief of the agency in charge of the government’s affairs and the first deputy head of the presidential staff, and Karen Danielyan was appointed as deputy head of the presidential staff and chief of state and legal management. --0---
