YEREVAN, November 29. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb in Helsinki on Thursday, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

The two sides discussed potential areas for enhancing cooperation between Armenia and Finland. It was highlighted that a strong commitment to democratic values, mutual interest in boosting cooperation in areas with significant growth potential, and Armenia's growing ties with the EU are key factors in strengthening the bilateral political dialogue.

The parties discussed in detail the key components of the ambitious Armenia-EU partnership agenda. Mirzoyan and Stubb exchanged views on regional issues.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus and ensuring the safest environment for the citizens of Armenia is one of the key priorities of Armenia's foreign policy. Mirzoyan highlighted that, despite the existing challenges, the Government of Armenia is actively working in this direction. He also pointed out Armenia's strong political will to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan and shared the latest developments in this process.
