YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. On Monday, a joint statement by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures, as well as a proposed draft of a corresponding decision, was distributed among OSCE participating countries. According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan informed French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot about this.

During the telephone conversation, Mirzoyan touched upon the agreements of August 8 in detail, emphasizing, among other things, the initialing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a key milestone in this process at this stage.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the unprecedented opportunities for expanding the interconnectedness of the countries of the region and partners beyond its borders as a result of the implementation of the agreement on unblocking regional communications.

The Armenian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the congratulations and continued support of France in this process.
