YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Operational Headquarters, relocated to Armenia after Sept. 19-20 military aggression of Azerbaijan, is ceasing activity, the Nagorno-Karabakh Information Center in Yerevan reported.

It said the Operational Headquarters is ceasing activity since rendering assistance to refugees, including health care, education, social assistance and other similar issues are being coordinated by the Humanitarian Center of the Armenian Government.

It said Nagorno-Karabakh refugees seeking answers to all arising issues should call the 24-hour hotline of the Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs at 114 or apply to the territorial (regional) centers of the Unified Social Service.

After the large-scale aggression of the Azerbaijani armed forces on September 19, Nagorno-Karabakh authorities accepted the proposal of the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent for a ceasefire.

Fearing persecutions Nagorno-Karabakh residents left their homes and moved to Armenia.

Nagorno-Karabakh president signed a decree to dissolve all state institutions and organizations under their subordination before January 1, 2024. By that time the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is to cease to exist. -0-
