Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan discussed today with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (the United States) and Jacques Faure (France) prospects for Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents’ meeting, the foreign ministry’s press office reports.
YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan discussed today with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (the United States) and Jacques Faure (France) prospects for Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents’ meeting, the foreign ministry’s press office reports.
OSCE CiO Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk took part in the meeting. Ways for moving the Karabakh conflict settlement forward were discussed at the meeting as well.
The co-chairs presented their impressions from meetings in Baku to Nalbandyan, and the latter reminded them of Baku’s statements which distort the essence and nature of the negotiation and of ceasefire agreement violation by the Azerbaijani side saying they are hobbling the peace process.
It was reported earlier that Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliev agreed to a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan. .----0------
