YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp said in Yerevan that it is important for the Netherlands, as an active EU member, that the situation in its neighbors is peaceful and the region prospers.

"The stability of the situation in Armenia is very important for the Netherlands. I assured the Minister (of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan - ed.) that the Netherlands is ready to provide support in increasing the resilience and diversification of the economy so that it is less dependent on Russia," he said at a press briefing with his Armenian counterpart in Yerevan.-0-.
