YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. The new document, "Armenia-EU Strategic Agenda for Partnership," will be signed in Brussels. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas will sign the document at the 6th meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council.
"The document contains several important components, including in the areas of security and defense," EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos said at a briefing in Brussels, refraining from providing specifics. Her words were quoted by Azatutyun Radio.
According to Kos, the parties will continue consultations on security and defense (these issues fall under Kallas's purview).
Mirzoyan, in turn, speaking about the new partnership agenda, described the document as "ambitious" and stated that it would further deepen bilateral cooperation between Armenia and the EU.
The document, which consists of over 70 pages, will serve as a new roadmap for Yerevan-Brussels relations.
