YEREVAN, 14 December. /ARKA/. Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France Armen Khachatryan presented his credentials to President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace on Friday, the Armenian Embassy in France said in a Facebook post.

Macron congratulated Khachatryan on his appointment and wished him fruitful work on strengthening and developing the special relations between the two countries.

In his turn, the Ambassador reaffirmed the Armenian government's aspiration to expand and develop relations with friendly France, which have transformed into strategic partnership.

The two officials also exchanged views on the developments in the South Caucasus and the ongoing efforts of the Armenian government towards the establishment of lasting and just peace in the region.-0-
