Nikol Pashinyan has nothing to do in Armenia - Samvel Karapetyan said he is ready to fight for Armenia

YEREVAN, July 7. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government have no connection with the future of the Armenian people, says in a new statement by Tashir Group President and benefactor Samvel Karapetyan, who is currently in the Armenian National Security Service detention center.
The statement was read by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan at a march in support of Karapetyan and the Armenian Church. It reads as follows:
"The last few days have been, without any exaggeration, some of the most important days of my life. While in illegal detention, I have not for a moment experienced isolation or loneliness. The friendly love and respectful attitude of thousands of our compatriots, which I felt through the media available to me, as well as the sincere offers of various kinds of support and assistance, which I received through the contacts available to me not only from my relatives, friends and acquaintances, but also from thousands of strangers, are capable of making every person happy.
The walls and bars of solitary confinement are not an absolute burden when your work and life are so valued by people.
Thank you, dear compatriots, for being who you are and being who you are.
But your attitude is as inspiring as it is obligatory. For me, this means at least two things. First, the majority of our compatriots agree with me and believe that a small group that has long denied our history and traditions cannot trample on our identity in pursuit of their narrow interests. They have no right to attack our Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. We will not allow this in our own way.
And secondly, our people show with their attitude that it is not I who am isolated, but the current authorities, who are alone, far from the Armenian people and Armenia, isolated from our historical values. And we must not only record this reality together, but also make it visible to everyone in a civilized and political way.
I am ready to begin the fight for our country and our native land, which no one will improve and protect for us.
It is time to unite around a fundamentally new force, to turn into a single fist.
Armenia must become a prosperous and modern, fair and secure country, a country of internal solidarity and unity, a country that protects all the rights of the people of Artsakh, a country that is truly sovereign and a reliable ally, a country that has restored dignity, leaving behind the division into black and white, the artificial intra-national split, the rupture of relations with the Diaspora, the uncertainty of the fate of our children and youth, repressions and lawlessness, defeats and humiliation, poverty and despair. I know how to do all this. And we will do it together. Together we must show the whole world that this is what befits an Armenian. Together towards a new and better period of our history," Karapetyan said in his message.
