YEREVAN, June 19. /ARKA/. The head of Armenia's National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee Arman Yeghoyan from the pro-government Civil Contract party did not rule out a trilateral meeting between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey during Nikol Pashinyan's upcoming visit to Istanbul, scheduled for June 20.

"To the best of my knowledge, no such meeting is planned this time, but it may take place. I cannot rule it out," Yeghoyan said at a press briefing in parliament. He recalled that such decisions are often made on the spot during international meetings, adding that if a trilateral meeting takes place, a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will naturally be on the agenda.

"Currently, the agenda includes Armenian-Turkish relations, which our special representatives have been negotiating for several years. This issue has already been raised to the highest political level," he said.

It was previously reported that Pashinyan would travel to Turkey on June 20 for a working visit, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.-0-
