No outcome should be expected from the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents, ARF member says

The upcoming meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents will not have any effect on the efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and therefore, one should not expect any meaningful outcome of it, a senior member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Dashnaktsutyun, Kiro Manoyan, told a news conference today.

The upcoming meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents will not have any effect on the efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and therefore, one should not expect any meaningful outcome of it, a senior member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Dashnaktsutyun, Kiro Manoyan, told a news conference today.
The details of the upcoming meeting were discussed by Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers on September 23 with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York. The co-chairs are set to pay another visit to the region.
"We should not expect great results from the upcoming meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan. It will not have an impact on the course of the talks, nevertheless, it is obvious that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are trying to organize another meeting before the presidential term of Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan expires in 2018 spring, "Manoyan said. -0-
