YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. No problem in Armenia can be resolved by force of arms or violence, Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan said today when addressing a gathering of the National Security Service. In his speech, Sargsyan emphasized the role of the National Security Service in ensuring the country's security.
"Adventurers should know well that attempts to undermine the foundations of our statehood are doomed to failure. The monopoly on the legitimate use of force belongs only to the Republic of Armenia," Sargsyan said.
Sargsyan added that all the necessary institutions and mechanisms for resolving disputes in Armenia have already been created.
"The Constitution and laws have already created all the necessary institutions and mechanisms for resolution of any issue, dispute or disagreement. There is no doubt that the National Security Service and other law enforcement agencies are able to prevent or neutralize any crime," the president said. -0-
