At its latest session, the Armenian government said that the state administration system is being optimized at the prime minister's instruction.

In particular, Hovik Abrahamyan has ordered transition to a saving regime. It means ministries have to cut their expenses on trips and representation.

As a result, it was proposed to cut some 800 administrative use cars, and instructed to the finance ministry to provide appropriate reports.

«Today the parliament's staff has 78 cars on its balance, of which 69 are functioning,» Tovmasyan said. «It is planned to write off other 11 cars from the balance.»

Mostly the cars on balance that were not used, though they need spending, technical examination and insurance, will be cut.

Tovmasyan said the parliament's staff saved AMD 170 million in 2015 on different programs, and these financial resources were sent back to the budget.

For example, AMD 156.6 million was spent on trips in 2015 against AMD 195 million in 2014. ($1 – AMD 477.58). --0-----
