Office of Armenia's first honorary consul to Georgia opens in Rustavi city

YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. The office of Armenia's first honorary consul in Georgia's city of Rustavi opened on Tuesday, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia reported.
Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan, Head of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Davtyan, Director of the Consular Department of the Georgian Foreign Ministry Giorgi Tabatadze and the newly appointed Honorary Consul Giorgi Misuradze spoke at the event.
Ambassador Smbatyan highlighted the opening of the office, emphasizing the importance of its activities, especially in terms of strengthening economic ties and more active contacts between Armenia and Georgia.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Rustavi Municipality and the Georgian-Armenian community. -0--
