At its meeting on February 24, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia approved the cost estimate for the preparation and holding of the regular elections to the National Assembly, scheduled for June 7, 2026.

YEREVAN, February 24. /ARKA/. At its meeting on February 24, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia approved the cost estimate for the preparation and holding of the regular elections to the National Assembly, scheduled for June 7, 2026.

According to the CEC, the costs for these purposes will amount to over 4.45 billion drams (approximately $11.8 million), of which over 1.88 billion drams are allocated for the salaries of members of precinct election commissions.

Furthermore, the Commission approved sample documents for registering party and bloc electoral lists for elections, in accordance with the Electoral Code, which stipulates that the first 30 candidates on the list are approved by a decision of the party or bloc congress.

The CEC also updated the procedure for registering parties and blocs on the website to obtain an account and create an electoral list.

The next parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7, 2026.
