OSCE to monitor the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh March 19

On March 19, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Askeran direction, near Bash Karvend village.

YEREVAN, March 18. / ARKA /. On March 19, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Askeran direction, near Bash Karvend village.  

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Irzhi Aberle (Czech Republic), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Andrey Barashkin (Russia).

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members, the press service of NKR Foreign Ministry reports. -0-
