YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu on Tuesday to discuss current aspects of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, according to the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.

Papikyan emphasized the importance of consistently implementing both the agreements previously reached with Lecornu and the new agreements resulting from this meeting.

The parties confirmed that the cooperation is based on long-term and institutional principles.
Lecornu confirmed his willingness to enhance cooperation.
