YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. On December 17, during a working visit to France, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Cédric Perrin, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Armed Forces of the French Senate, along with several other Senate representatives, as reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry.

During the meeting, bilateral defense cooperation was on the discussion agenda.

The head of the Armenian Defense Ministry emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of cooperation and its future prospects, noting that the achieved successes were made possible due to the continuous support of the Senate.

Cédric Perrin confirmed the importance of Senate support in strengthening cooperation.

The meeting also addressed issues related to regional security threats.
