YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Monday, the government press service reported.

The prime minister presented to the president of Kazakhstan the results of the talks held in Washington on August 8, in particular, the initialing of the "Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan", a joint appeal to the OSCE to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, unblocking regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" project.

The president of Kazakhstan congratulated the prime minister of Armenia on the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the agreements reached and expressed his support for this process.

The interlocutors discussed new investment opportunities opening up in the region and agreed that this would receive a positive response from investors in both countries.

The parties agreed to continue an active political dialogue.

According to the press service of the head of the Kazakh state, Tokayev noted that the declaration on the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens the way to large-scale international cooperation in the South Caucasus and more intensive economic and investment interaction between Kazakhstan and Armenia.

According to him, Kazakhstan is ready to further facilitate the political dialogue between Yerevan and Baku, providing its platform for negotiations.
