Pashinyan: Armenia's strategic goal is to transition from raw ore exports to finished product production
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called Armenia's strategic goal the transformation from a country primarily exporting raw ore to one producing finished products.

"Close cooperation between the government and mining companies is essential in this regard," he noted at the Mining Armenia Forum.

According to the Prime Minister, the sector must be developed in a way that maximizes the ore processing chain and brings it to the final product. "Because this will mean additional jobs, additional revenue for the state budget, a need for highly qualified specialists, additional investment in the economy and education, and a new level of prosperity," the prime minister said, expressing hope that upcoming processes, including regional ones, will create a more favorable environment for achieving the aforementioned goals.

In this context, Pashinyan stated that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the expected launch of regional transport infrastructure will open up new opportunities in this area.-0-
