Pashinyan believes that in Armenia, "the judiciary is completely disconnected from the people"

YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan remarked that the judiciary in Armenia is entirely detached from the populace, which constitutes a significant systemic issue.
"The enactment of a new Constitution will represent a move towards a stable, institutionalized democracy within the nation. In this context, there exists an institutional challenge that must be addressed by establishing a genuine link between the judiciary and the populace," Pashinyan stated on Tuesday while addressing a panel discussion during the Armenian Forum on Democracy.
He emphasized that authority resides with the people, and any power should originate from them.
"At present, Armenia is confronted with a grave systemic issue: the judiciary does not derive from the people, but is wholly isolated from them and lacks any connection with the populace," Pashinyan remarked.-0-
