Pashinyan's participation in EEU summit will be full-format, but in videoconference mode - Kremlin representative
YEREVAN, 25 December. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will take a full-scale participation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit in the video conference mode, although he will not come in person due to a positive test for coronavirus, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, TASS reports.
‘Unfortunately, this is now the case with the positive test. Nevertheless, Pashinyan will still participate via videoconference tomorrow. It will be a full-fledged participation,’ the Kremlin spokesman said.
Earlier, Pashinyan announced that he would not participate in the informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be held in St Petersburg on 25 December. Pashinyan said he tested positive for COVID-19 on 23 December, and worked from home on 24-25 December.
