YEREVAN, July 31. /ARКА/. The territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia, of course, cannot be outsourced, unlike business management of railways, pipelines or power lines,  Nazeli Baghdasaryan, press secretary of  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, said today.

'By the way, maintenance and management of highways in Armenia today and always is delegated to private companies. Another matter is who and with what quality carries out this management. But this is no longer related to the topic under discussion," Baghdasaryan said in a Facebook post.

She noted that there is confusion in the Armenian mass media regarding the positions of the Republic of Armenia on unblocking of transport communications in the region.

"This is partly understandable, since the topic includes many nuances, which are sometimes further complicated by the use of certain terms such as rent, lease, development rights, concession. Each of these terms, of course, can have a different meaning depending on what exactly it refers to," Baghdasaryan wrote.

She emphasized that the Republic of Armenia has never discussed, is not discussing and will not discuss such options for transport communications passing through its territory that are incompatible with its  territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction.

"And vice versa, within the framework of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction, the Republic of Armenia not only discusses various formats for the operation of transport communications in the region, but is also interested in reaching an agreement on one of these formats," Baghdasaryan wrote.

According to her, those representatives of Armenia who say that Armenia has not discussed, is not discussing and will not discuss, are clearly talking about formats that are incompatible with the territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of Armenia.

"Those representatives who talk about such discussions mean formats that are within the framework of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of Armenia, the right to development, and so on, which Prime Minister Pashinyan spoke about during the press conference on July 16," Baghdasaryan wrote.-0-
