Pashinyan says meeting with Trump in U.S. not planned

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is not envisioned during his upcoming visit to the United States.
“The main reason for my visit to the US is to participate in the 5th annual International Religious Freedom Summit and in one protocol event,” Pashinyan said at a press conference on Friday.
He described his upcoming visit to the US as very important, noting that the decision to participate in the summit was made after consultations with partners.
Earlier, Pashinyan's press secretary said that his visit to the United States is planned for early February. Armenian PM scheduled to speak during the International Religious Freedom Summit -0-
