Pashinyan to travel to China to attend SCO+ meeting

YEREVAN, August 29. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan will be in China on a working visit from August 30 to September 3, the government press service reported.

During the visit, Pashinyan will take part in the SCO+ meeting of the SCO summit and in some events within its framework.

A number of high-level meetings are planned, including with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Vice Chairman Han Zheng.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with foreign colleagues.

Armenia has observer status in the SCO. Earlier, Pashinyan stated that Armenia expressed a desire to become a member of the SCO, which, according to him, fits into the logic of the country's balanced policy.-0-
