Pashinyan, Trump and Aliyev signed the "Trump Route" Declaration, reaffirming their desire for peace
YEREVAN, August 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, US and Azerbaijani Presidents Donald Trump and Ilham Aliyev signed the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) Declaration.
Trump signed as a witness, while Pashinyan and Aliyev signed their signatures to reaffirm their desire for peace, prosperity and stability.
On August 8, a bilateral meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US President Donald Trump was held in Washington, followed by a trilateral meeting with the participation of Pashinyan, Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Trump said earlier that the White House would host a formal peace signing ceremony on August 8 with the leaders of the three countries, and noted that the US would also sign bilateral agreements with both countries to jointly develop economic opportunities "so that we can fully unlock the potential of the South Caucasus region."
