Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan convened today the second emergency meeting of the Security Council in less than a week, the government press office reported.

YEREVAN, October 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan convened today the second emergency meeting of the Security Council in less than a week, the government press office reported.
It said apart from the members of the Security Council, the sitting was also attended by President Armen Sarkissian, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Lilit Makunts, the head of My Step parliamentary majority bloc, Edmon Marukyan, the head of the Bright Armenia party, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign relations Ruben Rubinyan, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on defense and security Andranik Kocharyan, MP from Prosperous Armenia party Arman Abovyan.
The sitting of the Security Council began with the prayer of the Catholicos of All Armenians. The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh created as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression and the steps taken to counter the enemy were discussed, the press office said. -0-
