Pashinyan denies rumors about resignation of defense minister

Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan denied today media allegations claiming that Minister of Defense David Tonoyan resigned.

YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan denied today media allegations claiming that Minister of Defense David Tonoyan resigned.
“These are unfounded rumors,” Pashinyan said in response to a question from a journalist. The rumor was first circulated by Internet news portal Irakanum.am.
Rumors that Tonoyan was next to resign became to appear after the director of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan and chief of police Valery Osipyan were sacked.
On September 18 Tonoyan denied rumors of his resignation, and after a few hours said that he did not exclude it. -0-
