Pashinyan, Luxembourg Parliament Speaker discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies Claude Wieseler had a meeting in Yerevan, the press service of the Armenian government reported on Thursday.

YEREVAN, 23 May. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies Claude Wieseler had a meeting in Yerevan, the press service of the Armenian government reported on Thursday.

Pashinyan noted that the cooperation between the two countries remains dynamic and that the mutual agenda is constantly expanding.

Wieseler stressed the high level of Armenia-Luxembourg relations and expressed his country’s support to Armenia-EU joint projects and cooperation.

Armenia’s PM and Luxembourg’s Speaker also discussed a potential peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the delimitation of the border between the two countries. Wieseler stressed the importance of Armenia’s decisions in connection with the forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Pashinyan also presented his government’s short- and long-term projects aimed at supporting the refugees.

Both sides emphasized the importance of the European Union Mission in Armenia.
