YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. In a Facebook live stream today Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan promised to send all those who are trying to stand in the people’s way or stop the revolution from moving ahead to the "garbage dump of history".
"The power of the people has been established in Armenia, and there is no power in Armenia that is able to stand in its way or discontinue the revolution. Those who are seeking these goals will be sent to the garbage dump of history. I want to assure you that, as I used to say in the Republic Square, the establishment of legality in Armenia has no alternative, “ Pashinyan said .
The prime minister stressed that all those who committed crimes before the people and the state will be held accountable.
"This is the way of establishing legality, and there is no alternative to it; everyone will be held answerable for their actions as prescribed by the Armenian Constitution," he said.
"We are organizing the entire process within the framework of the powers given to the government by the people, and we will not violate this framework under any circumstances, since we do not want to replace someone else's lawlessness with our lawlessness. We do not want to replace someone else's robbery with our robbery. We do not want to place what others have stolen into our pockets. What we want is to transfer the money looted by others to the budget for the needs of the state and the people. All criminals will be held responsible. Every penny stolen from the people will be returned to them. In Armenia there is one master and one power - the people,” he said.
Pashinyan again urged his country fellows to come to the Republic Square on August 17 for a rally to sum up the first 100 days of establishing the power of Armenian citizens and talk about the achievements of the revolution and further actions. -0-
