Pashinyan, Sarkissian discussed border crisis and border delimitation

YEREVAN, May 21. /ARКА/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian today had a working meeting with Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Sarkissian's press service said. According to it, the meeting took place at the initiative of President Sarkissian.
The two men were said to have discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the soonest withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces that invaded earlier the sovereign territory of Armenia, as well as measures that will exclude future encroachments on the territorial integrity of Armenia.
An exchange of views also took place on Armenia's position regarding the launch of delimitation and demarcation of the border with Azerbaijan.
It was emphasized that the necessary conditions will be created for the start of relevant discussions in this direction only after the full withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenian territory.
On May 20, Pashinyan announced his readiness to sign a "secret document" on the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border that was 'declassified' the day before by former Armenian ambassador to the Vatican, Serzh Sargsyan's son-in-law Mikael Minasyan.
The latter claimed that under a secret deal between Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders Armenia would hand over some of its territory to Azerbaijan. Speaking at parliament on May 20 Pashinyan denied Minasyan's claims.-0-
