Pashinyan says Armenia set to deepen integration with Eurasian Economic Union

Armenia is committed to deepen further its integration with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting today with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, TASS reported.

YEREVAN, December 27, / ARKA /. Armenia is committed to deepen further its integration with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting today with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, TASS reported.
"We take our chairmanship in the EEU very seriously. I am confident that our chairmanship will help us to make even more efficient our integration within the Union," Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan was quoted also as saying that he could not remember how many meetings he and Putin have had already. “But the guys from the protocol service told me that I’m one of the foreign leaders that visit Russia most frequently. I’m sure this underlines our special strategic relationship, and I’m sure that we’ll preserve this dynamic of relationship. We are also waiting for you to pay an official visit to Armenia that will be very pleasant to us," Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan appreciated highly the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral economic relations, in particular in the field of tourism and expressed hope that Russia and Armenia will develop also their inter-parliamentary ties. -0-
