YEREVAN, October 16. /ARKA/. U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent told in Yerevan today that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is possible.

Speaking to local reporters George Kent said he was sure that such a meeting would happen, but he could not say when and where. He said this issue will be raised when US National Security Advisor John Bolton will have a meeting with Pashinyan later this month in Yerevan.

US President Donald Trump’s national security adviser, John Bolton, is due to visit Yerevan later this month as part of a tour of Russia and the three South Caucasus states.

Earlier a press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan said the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Donald Trump did not take place on the margins of the UN General Assembly because of the heavy schedule of the two leaders. -0-
