Pashinyan visits military unit stronghold to watch tactical exercises

YEREVAN, November 16. /ARCH/. Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, acting Defense Minister David Tonoyan and First Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan visited today a stronghold of a military unit of the Armenian Defense Ministry to watch tactical offensive exercises.

The press service of the Armenian government said Pashinyan was told about the overall situation on the front line, and then was shown the engineering structures and fortifications, new technologies used to secure reliable protection of borders and improve the security of the positions.

Pashinyan watched tactical exercises involving combat shooting in difficult mountain conditions, during which the attacking groups acted to improve their positions on the frontline.

Pashinyan was said to have spoken with the servicemen and their commanders carrying combat duty, thanking them for their dedicated service. Pashinyan encouraged the servicemen, wishing them health and peaceful service. -0-
