Peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan ready for signing - Armenian Foreign Ministry
YEREVAN, March 13. /ARKA/. The Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed today that Yerevan and Baku have finalized talks on the draft agreement on establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
'The Armenian Foreign Ministry has informed the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry through diplomatic channels that the Republic of Armenia accepts Azerbaijan's proposals on two unagreed articles of the draft agreement and proposed to make a joint statement on the harmonization of the text of the draft peace agreement and the completion of negotiations. The official Baku preferred to make a unilateral statement,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Thus, the peace agreement is ready for signing. The Republic of Armenia is ready to start consultations with the Republic of Azerbaijan on the terms and place of signing the agreement,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said. -0-
