PM discusses new government program with EU ambassador

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended a working dinner hosted by Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea. Invited were EU-member States’ Armenia-accredited ambassadors, government press office reported.

YEREVAN, June 27, /ARKA /. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended a working dinner hosted by Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea. Invited were EU-member States’ Armenia-accredited ambassadors, government press office reported.
Views were exchanged on the National Assembly-approved government program of activities, including its priorities, as well as on Armenia’s home and foreign policy issues.The speakers touched upon the outlook of EU-Armenia relations and the reforms underway in our country.
The government’s plan of actions for 2012-2017 approved last week by parliament envisages increase in pensions, reduction of poverty by 8-10 percent, creation of more than one hundred thousand new jobs and ensuring 0.3-0.4 percent of GDP increase in annual revenue collection rate. -0-
