Preparations for major command and staff exercise, “Lightning-2015”, to be held in Armenia in September, were discussed at the ministry of defense in Yerevan on Tuesday.
YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Preparations for major command and staff exercise, “Lightning-2015”, to be held in Armenia in September, were discussed at the ministry of defense in Yerevan on Tuesday.
The participants of the meeting considered the course of preparations and issues related to respective documentation and stages of the training.
Armenia’s minister of defense Seyran Ohanyan said “Lightning-2015” drills should be viewed as a way to use complex capacities of the economy, information system, ideology and patriotic upbringing of the young generation.
The meeting outcome was then finalized by the head of the presidential administration Vigen Sargsyan who stressed the importance of each component of the exercise in the current stage of statehood building. –0—
