President Sargsyan appoints new deputy defense minister

Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan has appointed today David Pakhchanyan as a new deputy defense minister, Sargsyan’s press service reported.

YEREVAN, June 2. /ARKA/. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan has appointed today David Pakhchanyan as a new deputy defense minister, Sargsyan’s press service reported.
According to a presidential decree, David Pakhchanyan will serve also as chairman of State Committee for Military Industry.
Earlier Sargsyan had dismissed a deputy minister of defense, the chief of military intelligence and the chief of the Signal Corps.
On April 26 he had sacked deputy defense minister Alik Mirzabekyan, who was in charge of defense logistics.-0-
