YEREVAN, January 23. /ARKA/. Price hikes are on the Armenian National Assembly’s floor now.
The price hikes have aroused public outcry in the country and prompted these hearings in the parliament.
Different officials, such as the central bank head, agriculture and transport ministers, head of the antitrust agency, have already reported and answered the questions MPs put to them.
According to official reports, consumer prices rose 2.6% in December 2017, compared with December 2016.
In the 2017 government budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%). -0--
