YEREVAN, August 12. /ARKA/. The Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia accepted a new petition from the Prosecutor General's Office to confiscate various properties and assets with alleged illegal origins, the General Prosecutor's Office reported on Monday.

The petition demands that the state confiscate the following from Manvel Paramazyan, the mayor of Kajaran in Syunik Province:

  • Six real estate properties

  • Two vehicles

  • Shares in one legal entity

  • 491.878 million drams as the remaining amount of illegal income derived from the conversion or use of unlawfully obtained property

  • 521.142 million drams that cannot be justified by legal income, have illegal origins, and were either transferred to a bona fide purchaser or cannot be identified and recovered
