Armenia’s government approved today the appointment of Abovyan Mayor Karapet Guloyan to the post of Kotayk province governor.
Guloyan will succeed to the office left by Aram Harutyunyan for another job.

Prosperous Armenia former leader’s son-in-law appointed as Kotayk province governor

YEREVAN, April 2./ARKA/. Armenia’s government approved today the appointment of Abovyan Mayor Karapet Guloyan to the post of Kotayk province governor.

Guloyan will succeed to the office left by Aram Harutyunyan for another job. It was not mentioned by the government for what position Harutyunyan, who had worked as urban planning minister and environment minister in different years, resigned.

Remarkable is that the new governor is son-in-law of Gagik Tsarukyan, who was Prosperous Armenia party leader until recently. ---0----
