Putin meets with Armenia’s Sargsyan in Ashgabat

On the sidelines of a CIS summit of heads of state in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, Russian president Vladimir Putin had meetings with counterparts from Armenia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan - Serzh Sargsyan, Viktor Yanukovych and Nursultan Nazarbayev respectively, Russian RIA Novostri reported.

‘They discussed bilateral relations, trade, economic and investment issues, as well as issues relating to the integration processes in the CIS", Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying. -0-
