Putin to travel to Armenia for CSTO gathering
YEREVAN, November 18. /ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel next week to Armenia to attend a summit of the Moscow-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said to RIA Novosti.
The CSTO Collective Security Council will discuss international and regional security issues as well as improvement of the CSTO crisis response system and joint measures for rendering assistance to the Republic of Armenia.
The session will be chaired by Prime Minister of f Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, n and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan are also expected to participate in the event. -0-
