Ramkavar-Azatakan party will support the current president Serzh Sargsyan in the upcoming Armenian presidential elections on February 18, 2013, the presidential press service reported.

YEREVAN, December 25. /ARKA/. Ramkavar-Azatakan party will support the current president Serzh Sargsyan in the upcoming Armenian presidential elections on February 18, 2013, the presidential press service reported.
The decision was made at the extended meeting of the party council, party leaders said at their meeting with the president Serzh Sargsian, according to the report.
Presidential candidates will be selected in the period from December 25 to January 4, 2013. Registration of nominees is to take place between January 4 and January 14. The election campaign is to start from January 21 and to continue till February 16, 24:00.
The current president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is the favorite. The Republican Party of Armenia nominated Sargsyan at its congress on December 15. Sargsyan’s campaign slogan will be “Towards secure Armenia”.
Ramkavar-Azatakan is a traditional Armenian liberal democratic party. It was founded in October 1921. --0--
